Chiranjeevi requests media not to show empty chairs

Once upon a time, people were so eager to see or listen to his speech. But, the people in Seemandhra people are showing a different attitude now after they observed the ‘silence’ of the megastar during the bifurcation process of Andhra Pradesh.

A public meeting held in Srikakulam became a clear witness for the changing attitude of the people towards Chiranjeevi. Some empty chairs were seen at the public meeting at which Chiranjeevi was about to address.

One interesting statement came from the star after the incident. Speaking to the reporters he requested the media not to show the empty chairs repeatedly in their respective media organizations.

The megastar clarified that he merged his Praja Rajyam into Congress party only to save democracy.

“It is not proper for Purandeswari, who was made a minister by the Congress party, to leave the party during the difficult period,” said the minister.

He said that some persons had advised him to change the party which he denied.

“Chandrababu joining hands with BJP only shows how power hungry he is,” commented Chiranjeevi.

He asked the people to teach a lesson to Chandrababu who was speaking in double standards.
