Chiranjeevi pleads Sonia for C Ramachandraiah?

Dismissal of minister D L Ravindra Reddy from the cabinet created heat even for Union Minister Chiranjeevi in the wake of news reports in a section of the press that his erstwhile PRP colleague C Ramachandraiah, Endowments Minister too would be sacked for his anti-CM campaign. 

Chiranjeevi came to the rescue of CR and met AICC president Sonia Gandhi on Wednesday. Reports said that he pleaded with Sonia Gandhi not to take action against C Ramachandraiah and gave an explanation to her that he (CR) had never talked against either the party or the government. But he opposed power tariff hike. 

Chiranjeevi also requested for at least two cabinet berths to his party’s former colleagues in the proposed cabinet expansion. Sonia Gandhi was also briefed about the steps taken by him for the development of tourism in the country especially in the state in view of the ensuing general elections.
