CBI memo against Dharmana quashed

Minister for Roads and Building Dharmana prasada Rao on Monday had a respite as the High Court quashed the memo filed by CBI.

The CBI version was that it did not want government permission to prosecute a minister. Dharmana approached the High Court challenging the court order. The HC set aside the CBI arguments in the case and quashed the CBI memo. After the HC quashed the CBI memo, Dharmana called on Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy at the latter’ camp office and briefed him the developments on the CBI charge-sheet. 

In another development, Dharmana appeared before the CBI court at Nampally in connection with the quid pro quo case. IAS officers Manmohan and Samuel were also appeared in the court.
