Bushra Maneka Images are topping the search charts on Google. After the spiritual adviser of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) married its chief Imran Khan, people were searching for “Bushra Maneka Images”.

Now, if you are wondering who is Bushra Maneka. Let me throw some light on her. She's in her late 40s who's a faith healer (pir). Bushra has been married earlier to a senior customs official, Khawar Farid Maneka in Islamabad and a mother of five kids.

It is learned that Imran Khan sought spiritual advice from Bushra. “He (Khan) got closer to her when some of political predictions she made about his party came true. Later, both developed some ‘intimacy’ and finally Bushra took divorce from her husband and contracted marriage with Imran early last month,” PTI quoted a person close to Imran Khan as saying.

He had earlier clarified on his affair with Maneka saying: “I would like to reiterate that every time I met her, with family and alone, she has been in purdah (veil). My interest in her lies in the fact that I have not seen or met anyone with her level of spirituality. I only sent the proposal for marriage after she divorced her husband,” said Khan.

Imran Khan was earlier married to Reham and Jemima, both of which ended in divorce.

So, where did Imran meet his spiritual mentor? Well, Bushra is a follower of Baba Faid Ganj Shakar who the former cricketer too follow. This perhaps drew them closer.

Interestingly when the entire world blamed Imran for Bushra's separation from her husband, her partner put rumours to rest saying: “No! Imran is not the reason for the divorce. There were some things related to spirituality between me and my ex-wife that led us to the decision to end the marriage.”

Bushra's ex-husband also created a video message in which he has stated: “I want to clearly state about my former wife, Bushra Bibi, that I have not seen a woman as pious as her in the world.”
