BJP leaders not keen on alliance with TDP anymore

Hyderabad: The Telangana BJP core committee met in Hyderabad on Thursday. One of the opinions that were voiced at this drawn out discussion was to do away with the BJP's poll alliance with the TDP in forthcoming municipal elections in Telangana.

The BJP core leadership reportedly discussed at length not only on the poll strategy for the forthcoming municipal elections in Khammam, Warangal, Siddipet and Achampet but also on the outcome of the recently concluded municipal elections in Greater Hyderabad.

Speaking in this context the MLC Ramachandra Rao gave voice to the BJP leaders' opinion to not partner with TDP for these elections. He added that they would discuss on this matter with the local leaders of these constituencies and take a decision on it.
