Chintalapudi Venkatramaiah Resigns from JanaSena Party

Vijayawada: Chintalapudi Venkatramaiah who had contested from Pendurthi in the AP 2019 elections from Pawan Kalyan's party, gave a shock to the JanaSena party president Pawan Kalyan by sending him a resignation letter.

Venkatramaiah wrote in his letter that he was resigning from the JanaSena Party on the request of the people, activists, well-wishers and his followers of the Gajuwaka constituency.

He said that he has always been of help to the people of his constituency and worked as a legislative member for the past 15 years. Venkatramaiah added that he was grateful for the support shown to him by the party president Pawan Kalyan.

With the resignation of Venkatramaiah, there are no leaders for the JanaSena party in Gajuwaka. In the wake of Pawan's defeat in the Janasena election, several senior leaders have reportedly been leaving the party.

Janasena leaders like Ravela Kishore Babu, Chintala Parthasarathi, Raghavaiah Marisetti, Sridhar Addepalli, and David Raju left the JanaSena party after JanaSena’s disastrous failure in AP 2019 elections.

Some of the JanaSena Leaders like the JanaSena convener of the Krishna district, Paledugu David Raju, is said to have joined the BJP in the presence of AP BJP president Kanna Lakshminarayana. Pasupuleti Sudhakar, who has contested as JanaSena candidate from Kavali Legislative Assembly constituency, went to Delhi on August 1 and joined the BJP.
