After the boy's return CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy personally called the East Godavari SP Adnan Nayeem Asmi and congratulated him and the police team for their efforts to trace the kidnapped boy. He is said to have told him that fifty percent of the task was complete with their efforts in tracing the boy and the rest of the fifty percent is when they catch the kidnappers as soon as possible and bring them to court of law.

Speaking to the media after he personally handed over the boy to his parents, SP Nayeem Asmi said that boy was found by a person working at a brick kiln in Kutukuluru village at Anaparthi mandal in the morning hours on Thursday.

He said that there was a possibility of the kidnappers releasing the child because of mounting pressure on them as the police search teams deployed across the three districts of East Godavari, Srikakulam and Kakinada were searching for the boy. Apart from that with kidnap news reported in all news channels which also went viral on social media, would have frightened the kidnappers and they would have released the boy, the SP said.

The only credible information they have is that of the CC TV footage where an unidentified man had come to the neighbour's house. As there were no calls made for ransom or any form of communication made to either the parents or the police, which has made the task difficult.
