Vijayawada: 12 Trucks Gutted In Fire

Vijayawada: As many as 12 trucks were destroyed in a fire accident in Ibrahimpatnam of Krishna district. The mishap occurred in the early hours of Monday morning when the trucks were parked near Ibrahimpatnam Track Terminal South India Garage in Vijayawada. The trucks reportedly were stationed in the parking space for a considerable time before the fire erupted.

According to the details, the grass nearby the parking space caught fire and spread to the trucks, resulting in heavy losses. The fire tenders were alerted. The fire tenders within a short span of time reached the spot and doused the flames. While the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, the trucks were partially burnt in the incident. Ibrahimpatnam police also rushed to the spot and are inquiring about the mishap.
