Prakasam: Irrigation Minister Anil Kumar Yadav demonstrated his humane side on Monday when his motorcade reached Medharametla in Prakasam district and found that a road accident had left a few victims injured severely. He alighted from his convoy and helped victims, while instructing his officials to help victims reach the hospital sooner.

Yadav was travelling from Nellore to Amaravati to attend the Collectors' Conference held under the leadership of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Once he reached Medharametla in Prakasam, he witnessed few individuals lying down on the road helpless after a road accident. The Minister swiftly responded to this by alighting from his car and ordering his staff to help victims reach the hospital. He even offered to drive them to the hospital. However, 108 ambulance reached the spot and shifted them to hospital. The Minister told officials concerned to provide best of the medical care to the victims.

Yadav is lauded by everyone who was present at the location. They were happy that a VIP had actually got down from his car to help needy when he was actually rushing to a Chief Minister's meeting.
