YS Jagan Implements Navaratnalu In Letter And Spirit

Andhra Pradesh: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP supremo and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy assured the people of the state that he was always there for them. Beginning his speech with 'YS Jagan Ane Nenu', he said that he was accepting his chiefministership bowing the verdict of the people. He reminded the mammoth gathering present at the oath-taking ceremony in the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium at Vijayawada that he had seen their hardships and experienced them as one among them during the course of his 3648-km long padayatra over a period of 14 months.
YS jagan pointed out that he had gained a deep insight into the lives of the poor and that he would always stand by them at all times. The party's manifesto was a two-page charter devoid of deception, he said. YS Jagan asserted that the manifesto will serve as a guide to the functioning of the government that every promise spelt out in it would be fulfilled. For him and his party, the manifesto would serve as a Bhagadwad Gita, Qoran and Bible, he observed. YS Jagan also vowed to implement Navaratnalu in letter and spirit saying that the manifesto would serve as his life breath. Importantly, he commented that there would be no discrimination of any kind based on party, caste or creed when it comes to reaping the benefits of welfare schemes.
The young chief minister added that the entire system needs a thorough overhaul to ensure corruption-free governance. He said that by August 15, a call centre would be established to enable the common man to complain directly to the CMO on instances of corruption or non delivery of welfare schemes. YS Jagan remarked that prior contracts which were given for kickbacks and involved corruption would be scrapped and that reverse tendering process would be introduced to ensure transparency. He also said that he would seek an appointment with the chief justice of Andhra Pradesh high Court to seek the services of a high court judge through whom tenders of contracts would be routed for greater transparency. YS Jagan said that acting upon his promise of establishing village secretariats, a volunteer would be appointed for 50 houses on a salary of Rs 5000 in each village. 10 youth from the village would be given government jobs in the village secretariat and that it would be duty-bound to act upon all requests, applications and complaints in 72 hours. Through this system, the SYRCP government would ensure that welfare governance reaches the doorstep of the common villager.
