Visakhapatnam: Eight-Year-Old Boy Gets Locked Inside Car, Dies Of Suffocation

Visakhapatnam: An eight-year-old boy suffocated to death after getting locked in a car at the Navy Quarters in the city. The victim, identified as Vinod on Monday afternoon accompanied his father, who works at a lieutenant commander's home in Scindia, Visakhapatnam.

While the victim's father cleaned the car at the commander's house, he later locked the car, not realizing the presence of his eight-year -old son in the vehicle.

The eight-year-old boy was later found dead in the back seat of the car by the house owner. Meanwhile, the family kept searching for the boy and were informed about the demise of the kid by the house owner. A case has been registered at the Malakapuram Police Station.

Since the incident took place at the Navy quarters, the police are seeking permission of the Navy officials to investigate the death of the boy.
