Overspeeding Bus Loses Control in Andhra, 30 Passengers Injured

Vijayawada: At least 30 passengers sustained injuries in a bus accident which took place at Nawabpet near Nandigama in Penuganchiprolu mandal of Krishna district in the early hours of Monday. As per the details, the private travels bus was travelling from Yanam to Hyderabad with 40 passengers on board.

According to the passengers in the bus, the driver was reckless in his driving and didn't pay heed to any of their requests to slow down which resulted in the accident.

The injured passengers were shifted to Nandigama government hospital in Vijayawada for treatment.

The police who were alerted of the incident rushed to the spot and helped the injured victims out of the bus. However, they struggled for a long time to pull out the driver of the bus as he was stuck in the cabin.
