Supreme Court CJI In Tirumala For Abhisheka Seva
Tirumala: The Honourable Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi with his family participated in the Abhisheka Seva of Lord Venkateswara in the early hours of Friday. The CGI along with his wife Smt Rupanjali Gogoi and daughter Ms Rashmi Gogoi offered prayers at sanctum sanctorum of the Tirumala temple.
Upon his arrival at the Maha dwaram, he was warmly welcomed by the TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal and JEO Tirumala KS Srinivasa Raju following which Vedic scholars in Ranganayakula Mandapam extended Vedasirvachanam.
The top brass dignitary was later presented with Theertha Prasadams and a laminated photo of Lord Venkateswara. Temple Deputy EO Haridranath, Peishkar Ramesh, Reception Officials Balaji, Lokanadham and Dist Judges were also seen in attendance. As per the government protocol, Tirupati Urban Police provided Z category security to CJI during his Tirumala tour.
Subsequent to his religious visit to Tirumala, CJI Ranjan Gogoi returned to New Delhi on Friday evening.
