Reconstruct 1000-pillar Hall in Tirumala: Roja

Nagari: YSR Congress Party MLA RK Roja demanded that the TDP government reconstruct the famous 1000-pillar hall that was right in front of the main temple in Tirumala. She said YSRCP would approach the court in this matter.

The TTD owned temples in Nagari have been completely ignored in the last four years and the government was not concerned about it, she said and has submitted a memorandum on this issue to TTD EO.

Speaking to media, Roja said that despite numerous requests to solve the temples' problems, the government had not bothered to react.

Further, she added that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was staging fake protests. She said it was surprising to note that CM Ramesh would protest against the non-establishment of steel plant in Kadapa. These were dramas just to safeguard the money that he had looted from the state, she added.
