Botsa Satyanarayana, clarified that illegal constructions on the embankments on River Krishna in Undavalli will be demolished.

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development Botsa Satyanarayana, clarified that illegal constructions on the embankments on River Krishna in Undavalli will be demolished.

Speaking to media persons here on Monday, he said that notices had been served on illegal constructions earlier. Expressing his ire that a section of people was making false statements that the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu's residence in Undavalli is being demolished today (Monday), was baseless. The Minister clarified that they were demolishing the illegal building belonging to Paturi Koteshwara Rao's building, but was being shown by the Yellow Media that Chandrababu's house was being demolished.

He also said that the Lingamaneni residence where Chandrababu Naidu is residing is, in fact, an illegal construction.

He reminded that Chandrababu Naidu admitted that Lingamaneni estate was an illegal construction earlier but now he is changing his word. Botsa also said that Chandrababu Naidu admitted that Lingamaneni Estate was handed over to the Government as part of Land Pooling for the Amaravati capital.

"Notices were served to the Lingamaneni's estate and appropriate action will be taken as per law. We will demolish all the illegal constructions which come under the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA)," said the Minister.
