YS Jagan Came With A Clear Heart: KCR

Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and K Chandrashekar Rao resolved to utilise water resources in the Telugu states and ensure that irrigation and drinking water reaches every nook and corner of both the states. They pointed out that the objective of coming together to resolve pending issues included making both the Telugu states verdant and provide water for agriculture industry and domestic use. In sitting down across the table, both the chief ministers let bygones be bygones and move forward with shared goals. Through their actions, they revealed that people of both the states were essentially the same and that both states can prosper if they work together.

YS Jagan and KCR decided to meet the water needs of parched Rayalaseema region through diversion of Krishna river waters and Palamuru in Telangana through diversion of Godavari river waters from Srisailam.

KCR expressed happiness at the marked improvement in the relations between the two Telugu states after elections. He remarked that there were no disputes or misunderstandings and that there was no room for controversies and conflicts. KCR added that he and YS Jagan were not thinking about themselves but future generations. He pointed out that people reposed their confidence in both the leaders and as such, it was their solemn duty to serve them. Only when both states would marched together would there be alround progress marked by cordiality of relations. KCR observed that YS Jagan came to Hyderabad with a clean heart. Both of them decided to move forward and had similar intent. The pariticipation of the chief ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra at the innaugural function of Kaleshwaram was a good sign. Kaleshwaram became possible due to the cooperation of the Maharashtra government. Ultimately,it is the people who benefit from Collaborative understanding and this is true of Anhdra Pradesh and Telangana as well, said the Telangana CM.

Among those who accompanied the Andhra Pradesh chief minister were Ministers Pedireddi Ramachandrareddy, Anil kumar Yadav, Buggana Rajendranath Reddy, Kurasala Kanna Babu, Balineni Srinivasa Reddy and Perni Nani in addition to advisor to the chief minister Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, Chief Secretary LV Subramanyam and others.
