Vizianagaram: YSRCP leader and MLC Kolagatla Veerabhadraswamy stated that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is reeling under the fear of defeat. Speaking to the media persons on Thursday, he said that Chandrababu, who even resorted to threaten the Election Commission is trying to mislead the public with his claims on the functioning of the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).

The YSRCP leader said that winning and losing is a natural process in democracy, but instead of accepting the result with dignity, Chandrababu is questioning the election system which is intolerable.

Speaking further, he questioned, "Earlier Chandrababu claimed that the votes are being recorded to YSRCP even if they chose TDP but now how can he say that TDP will garner 130 seats?"

Mentioning that the drinking water is a serious issue in Vizianagaram, Veerabhadraswamy said that the city is already under severe shortage of drinking water in April adding that if this continues, there would be a bigger issue for the officials to adhere to in the upcoming months of May and June. Hence, he urged the state government officials to take tougher measures to address the rising water issue.
