Visakhapatnam Congress Workers Leave Party Over Ties With TDP, Candidates Choice

33 members resigned from the Congress party membership vexed up over the policies of the grand old party in Andhra Pradesh. It is learnt that their disappointment started after Congress decided to forge an alliance with Telugu Desam Party whose reputation has gone from bad to worse, thanks to the misrule of Chandrababu Naidu.

To add to their woes, the Congress workers were mighty upset with the candidate list announced by the party for Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. The buzz in political circles is that the Congress leadership did not consult the local leaders about choice of candidates for the upcoming elections.

It is a known fact that most of the party members who still held good posts decided to switch their loyalties to other parties.
