Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been hoodwinking DWCRA women members by stating that he will waive their loans and has been repeatedly making these statements in the past four years in a bid to convince them, said Vijaya Saradhi Reddy, the YSRCP Women Cell In Charge in Visakhapatnam, on Wednesday. With the elections round the corner in a few months he promises to bring a golden era for women in Andhra , and nobody is in the state is ready to believe his lies, she said further.

YSRCP Visakha Womens' President Garikina Gowri, Pila Venkata Lakshmi conducted a women's meet on Wednesday where Vijaya Sarathi Reddy , Anakapally Parliament Convenor Varadu Kalyani were invited as chief guests. Chandrababu is once again deceiving women in the name of loans and loan waivers, they pointed out. They asked women not to fall for his election gimmicks.

They enumerated the benefits of the YSRCP party manifesto Navaratnalu to the women. Vijaya said that special benefits were on the anvil for women in the state if YSRCP was voted to power. She also gave a call for the YSRCP women cadre to propagate the Navaratnalu among the people.She said that the Chandrababu was cheating women in the name of waivers and that women should also become aware of this .

Varadu Kalyani while speaking said that these few months before the elections were very crucial and that the cadre should work towards ensuring that the YSRCP should come to power. With the election notification announcement coming in February , all women should go forward and spread the word about Navaratnalu to the public. She scoffed at the TDP promising DWCRA women smart phones and Rs 10, 000 but eventually only gave drinking water packets to them.

Garikina Gowri said that the TDP was blatantly copying the Navaratnalu manifesto which was introduced by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and in the coming months Chandrababu will be shown the door after the elections ,she concluded. The meeting was attended by YSRCP women cadre from North South ,East and West Visakhapatnam, Gajuwaka, Bhimili constituencies.
