YSR Congress Party General Secretary, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy criticised the Chandrababu Naidu government for staging pre-election gimmicks and added that in the past four years not a single welfare had been implemented. If there was any progress, it was with respect to Chandrababu Naidu's family and the assets of his proxies, he observed.

The senior YSRCP leader remarked that Chandrababu Naidu began to enact new dramas in the new year. The Andhra Pradesh chief minister seems to have woken up to the fact that elections are around the corner and is coming out with announcements and GOs to deceive the people of the state.

Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy flayed the Andhra Pradesh chief minister for announcing a half-baked version of unemployment allowance as a pre-election gimmick, along with other such recent announcements. While announcing unemployment allowance for every household, the TDP government identified only 3 lakh beneficiaries, he pointed out.

The senior YSRCP leader observed that 9 hours of power supply was promised as a token gesture before the elections. Similarly, Chandrababu now announced pensions of Rs.2,000, he pointed out. He added that the TDP government should have implemented this when YSR Congress party president, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy announced his Navarathnalu or when he gave these assurances in dozens of public meetings across the state during the course of his recently concluded Padayatra.

Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy slammed Chandrababu for spending Rs. 44 crore on a welcome gallery in the capital city of Amaravati. After having shifted the capital to Amaravati, Chandrababu spent crores of public money on the chief minister's office in Hyderabad, he said.

The senior YSRCP leader observed that farmers of the state suffered immensely due to Chandrababu's betrayal of the promise of loan waivers. The total estimated loss amounts to Rs. 43,000 crore on this count, he said. Where was the need to borrow lakhs of crores and leave the state debt-ridden?, he asked.

Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy added that the expenditure incurred on Chandrababu's jaunts ran into thousands of crores of rupees. Similarly, Chandrababu wasted Rs. 3 crore on each "Dharma Porata Deeksha" conducting ten such so-called deekshas, he pointed out. The senior YSRCP leader remarked that the people of the state had reserved the verdict on the next elections and YSR Congress would be elected and Rajanna Rajyam ushered in, he said.

Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy commented that Pawan Kalyan was simply parroting Chandrababu's lines. He added that the Jana Sena founder was not a major political force in the state.
