10 Reasons Why Attack On YS Jagan Attack Was Pre-Planned

• 12:45 pm to 12:48 pm: Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was attacked inside the VIP Lounge of Visakhapatnam airport by Srinivasa Rao
• 1:30 pm: Speaking to media at Vijayawada, AP DGP RP Thakur announced the details regarding the accused claiming he was a sympathiser of YS Jagan. The DGP said Srinivasa Rao attacked the Opposition leader to gain publicity.
• 2 pm: Three TDP ministers displayed in their phones, a photo of a poster that had YS Jagan and Srinivasa Rao together.
• 3:30 pm: Local TDP leaders reach Srinivasa Rao's residence in Thanelanka in East Godavari district. They had announced that Srinivasa Rao was a YS Jagan fan.
• 7 pm: Addressing the media at his residence, CM Chandrababu Naidu said the attack on YS Jagan was planned to gain sympathy.

10 Questions in YS Jagan Attack Case

1. It appears that the plan to use Srinivasa Rao as an instrument to attack the Leader of Opposition was made at least a year ago. Srinivasa Rao's family members are daily wage labourers. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) did not probe in the direction of finding a lead as to how the Srinivasa Rao’s family got money in large sums in a short period of time.

2. Srinivasa Rao's family was allotted a house in Thanelanka while none of the YSRCP sympathisers and supporters were allotted a house. Now, the TDP is trying to project Srinivasa Rao as a YSRCP supporter. What is the reason behind this?

3. The police have announced that the poster in which the accused is standing by YS Jagan was designed 10 months ago, on 1 January, 2018. A pdf file of the poster was released. How could the police inquire about the poster within an hour from the incident?

4. The Visakhapatnam airport runs under the supervision of the Ministry of Defence and not the Ministry of Civil Aviation. Who was behind hiding the accused's criminal history before approving a No Objection Certificate (NOC)? Was the SIT aware of it?

5. The SIT did not probe in the direction of finding the conspirators behind making it a special case to approve the NOC without a background check. Certain police officers told ‘Sakshi’ that the conspirators could be found if the investigation goes in that direction.

6. A report by Bureau of Civil Aviation Security's Director General Kumar Rajesh Chandra found that Srinivasa Rao had illegal access into the airport for an year. The Aerodrome Entry Permit (AEP) is a must for anyone who has to enter the airport. The report said neither Srinivasa Rao nor the restaurant owner Harshavardhan had applied for AEP. However, it was found that the airport's director issued a temporary AEP to Srinivasa Rao for the month of October, 2018. How could the attacker gain access into one of the most secure airports for a year without the AEP?

7. While the Fusion Foods restaurant is under CCTV surveillance, the officials stated that there were no CCTV cameras in the VIP lounge. It is said that the accused hid the knife behind a water bottle and a napkin. There would be CCTV footage of Srinivasa Rao picking a knife from the restaurant. Why did the SIT ignore this part?

8. What was the reason behind the Commissioner's announcement that a NOC was issued in the name of Srinivasa Rao in the Vizag airport? Whom is the police trying to protect?

9. How could the CCTV cameras be switched off without the knowledge of officials for three months? Who was behind the switching off of cameras? Was it because of the acquaintance of Harshavardhan with the airport's security officer Venu Gopal?

10. How could the DGP announce that the accused resorted to the attack for gaining publicity, hours before taking him into custody? What was the proof for his statements in his press meet? At 4:30 pm, an FIR was registered with the police after CISF's assistant commander made a complaint to the police at 4 pm. How could the ministers and the DGP find details of the accused at 3 pm?
