Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu who has been changing his political stance  at every juncture has now hinted at tying up with Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan. Speaking at  a meeting held recently, he asked as to what was wrong if he and Pawan Kalyan jointly contested the upcoming elections in Andhra Pradesh. This statement has left political circles buzzing about the real equation between the two politicians.

In what could be a blatant yellow media promotion, Chandrababu Naidu had earlier said that Pawan Kalyan, YS Jagan and Narendra Modi were together as allies. In 2014, he had close ties with the NDA but ended the alliance after a fallout over the bifurcation of the State and the government dishonouring the many promises made, including the one on granting special category status (SCS) to the State. He said that instead of granting SCS to state, the BJP was targeting him making use of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Leader of Opposition, and Pawan Kalyan, Jana Sena Party leader, he alleged. It may be recollected that the TDP joined forces with the NDA to oust the Congress, but in a complete volte-face he joined hands with the Congress for the 2018 Elections and formed the Grand Alliance.

With elections just three months away, he questioned as to what would be YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's problem if the TDP and Pawan Kalyan joined together and campaign in the AP elections. This statement was a clear indication that he was throwing the ball in Pawan's court. Speaking to reporters in Undavalli after releasing the White paper on the financial status of Andhra Pradesh, he said that he knew who was with YS Jagan and that there was a clear nexus between Modi- KCR and YS Jagan and asked what was wrong if Pawan and the TDP contested together in the upcoming elections.

This was in complete contrast to the statement he made about them some time ago. This has left political leaders shocked about the change of stance in his changing relationships with Pawan Kalyan.

Meanwhile, Jana Sena party officials are asking Pawan Kalyan to maintain silence over this statement and wait for the right moment to clear the air.
