Hyderabad: Unfazed by the murder attempt on him, Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSR Congress party (YSRCP) YS Jagan Mohan Reddy resumed his mass outreach program, Praja Sankalpa Yatra, amid tightened security provided to him by the police in the wake of the recent attack on his life. Earlier today, the people's leader, joined by thousands of locals and supporters, began his mass contact initiative Praja Sankalpa Yatra on day 295 from Payakapadu in Salur constituency of Vizianagaram district.

As part of the upgraded security cover provided to the mass leader, all the supporters who joined YS Jagan were asked to wear special identity cards. As per the police, the YSRCP Chief will be henceforth guarded by a three-layered security. Only those who wear ID cards are allowed to approach the leader, they said.

Joined by scores of locals all the way from Payakapadu, the AP Leader of Opposition proceeded towards Makkuva Cross road, Mulakkaya Valasa and reached Papayya Valasa. At Melapu Valasa, YS Jagan interacted with the potters from the region. He lent a patient an ear as their poured out their woes.
