Guntur: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Ravi Venkataramana demanded to know from the leaders of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) why they were scared of the Income Tax raids in Andhra Pradesh. Speaking to media along with leaders Kilari Rosaiah and Chandragiri Yesurathnam, he said that the IT raids were a consequence of the thousands of crores of corruption by TDP leaders. Why are they so scared if they did nothing wrong? he asked. TDP MP CM Ramesh and Beeda Masthan Rao looted thousands of crores by misusing power, he remarked.

The YSRCP leader said the TDP leaders were complaining of the raids by the BJP, with whom they were in romance for four years. "The TDP's attempts to block the IT raids from happening is equivalent to abuse of democracy. It is not fair to allege that the raids were an attack of the people of AP while the IT raids were being carried out on those who made illegal money," he said.

Ravi Venkataramana demanded to know the identities of bigwigs who had looted government funds. Very soon the public will give a befitting reply to the TDP leaders, who are indulging in spreading false propaganda.
