Visakhapatnam: Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan challenged AP IT and Panchayat Raj minister Nara Lokesh to win elections through people's mandate. Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu feared that Lokesh would lose direct elections hence the AP CM made way for his son by selecting him as an MLC, which is an indirect way to get elected, he observed. It was unfortunate that now he was being projected as chief ministerial candidate, he lamented.

Addressing a Jana Sena party meeting at Rushi Konda near here on Sunday, the Jana Sena chief said there was no one to solve the problems of the state. "If our party wins the upcoming elections and we form the government, we will bring about considerable changes in social and political landscape of AP," he told the gathering.

Pawan Kalyan said that he didn't like vote bank politics. He said that Jana Sena was established to inculcate politics of humanity. Distributing seats during elections cannot be considered a social justice. He expressed his dissatisfaction over the manner in which TDP had cheated them. He thought that TDP would bring about change in politics and also in the lives of the people and supported, but after forming the government the TDP government had ignored people, he said.

The actor-turned-politician said that even after 65 years, Chandrababu Naidu's greed for money and power was not diminished. In TDP's rule north Andhra was facing severe problems, no jobs for youth and workers have no employment, he said. He told his party workers and supporters that around 44,000 people belonging to Srikakulam and Vizianagaram have migrated to different places in search of work. He said he was questioning these aspects and factors that led to this situation.

He further said that TDP was a political party without ideology. "Only after Jana Sena highlighted the problem of Uddanam, did TDP realise. After my visit, the ruling party considered the problems of Tummapala Sugar factory," he added.
