The no-confidence motion against the NDA-led BJP government initiated by the two political parties in Andhra pradesh YSR congress party and TDP is likely to take place today in Lok Sabha.

The no-confidence motion against the NDA-led BJP government initiated by the two political parties in Andhra pradesh YSR congress party and TDP was likely to take place today in Lok Sabha. Meanwhile, Lok Sabha got adjourned to 12 noon. Reports suggest that Opposition parties are expected to hold a press conference in the parliament.

According to media reports, Andhra Pradesh CM and TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu has asked party MPs to coordinate with members of the Opposition.

It's worth mentioning here that it was the AP Leader of Opposition, YS jagan Mohan Reddy who first sent a notice to the Lok Sabha General Secretary Snehalatha Srivastava expressing no confidence in council of ministers. Thereafter, AP chief minister Chandrababu Naidu too had to give in owing to pressure from his partymen and the general public to act in the interest of the state.

Addressing the House on Friday, Speaker Sumitra Mahajan acknowleged YSRCP's no-trust notice to the Lower House and said that she will allow the motion only if the House was in order. However, that was not to be as chaotic scenes ruled Lok Sabha following which the speaker adjourned the House. Same was the case yesterday too. While most political parties from across the states have expressed their support to the no-trust vote against the Centre, Shiv Sena has decided to abstain from voting itself and remain neutral while AIADMK won't support the move.

The no confidence motion is expected to be pushed today if the House is in order.

YSR Congress party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has appealed to all the political parties to cooperate in undisrupted functioning of the House to allow for a discussion on special category status to AP.
