What is more important than lives of people?: YS Jagan

YS Jagan pitches for debate on Political MurdersYS Jagan persists with demand for debate on political murdersTDP tries to corner YS Jagan but to no availUnmindful Chandrababu seen chatting with his colleague in the houseThe second day of the budget session of Andhra Pradesh Assembly again witnessed stormy scenes over the issue of “political murders” forcing the house to be adjourned till Wednesday.

On Tuesday, the opposition YSRCP insisted on a debate on the law and order situation in the state. The party said that in the span of just three months 11 YSRCP activists have been murdered and no action has been taken to bring the culprits to book.

There were heated exchanges between the members of the ruling and opposition parties accusing each other for disrupting the house.
Amid the noise, Leader of the Opposition in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, asked what was more important subject than the life of the people. "Is there more important a subject than the precious lives of the people?", he asked. He demanded a discussion on deteriorating law-and- order situation in AP.

A stung Yanamala stood up and tried to taunt YS Jagan by leveling allegations on YSR's rule and he accused the YSRCP leaders of wasting the time of the house. But Jagan quickly replied that since the budget will be introduced tomorrow, related issues could be raised on Wednesday. "But for these two days, we wanted a debate on the poor law and order situation. We are demanding a debate on the last three months of your rule. We do not want to delve deep into the past and seek a debate on the murder of Vanagveeti Radha," he quipped.
Prodded and tutored by Chandrababu Naidu, several TDP leaders tried to corner YS Jagan but to no avail. While the serious debate was going on on the issue, Chandrababu was seen chatting with minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao.
The speaker later adjourned the House for the day amid uproar.
