Prompt Action by Police Rescues Businessman

The prompt action by Narsingi police in the city helped in the rescue of Hyderabad-based businessman Rameshchand Agarwal on Saturday.

The businessman was traveling in a car near Alkapur when the kidnappers overtook them and stopped their car. They, then assaulted Ramesh's friend Promod and kidnapped Ramesh.  Promod suffered critical injuries and has been rushed to hospital by passersby.

Based on an alert by Ramesh's son, the Narsingi police tracked down the kidnappers' vehicle and arrested them.
