Is CM Revanth Reddy Safe? Newly-elected TS CM Convoy not complying with security protocol

The Chief Minister's convoy usually comprises vehicles bearing the same number and uniform colours. This uniformity is ensured in view of the security protocol followed as per standard procedures for VVIPs. The order of the cars gets changed randomly (as per a prior plan of the security personnel) on roads to ensure that nobody gets to know in which vehicle the CM is travelling.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has changed his vehicle car number from 0009 to 07FF0009. The rest of the cars will bear a common number, which is, TS 09 RR 0009.

The Chief Minister's vehicle will be black, while the rest of the vehicles will be silver and white. This kind of differentiation is not advised, as others will get to know in which vehicle the CM is travelling. This is not in tune with the standard operating procedures. Analysts feel that the differentiation compromises on security.
