BJP Leader Dies in Road Mishap in Karimnagar

Hyderabad: BJP leader Gopu Komura Reddy died in a tragic road accident in Karimnagar on Saturday. 

The incident occurred near Kothagattu village of Shankarapatnam mandal in Karimnagar when a car he was travelling in lost control and hit a roadside tree. 

The accident took place while the BJP leader was on his way to Huzurabad, the police said. 

Before joining the BJP, Gopu Reddy was a BRS leader and worked as a president of Huzurabad mandal. He joined the saffron party along with Huzurabad MLA Eatala Rajender.
