The price of gold witnessed a slight decline in early trade on Monday, with 24-carat gold falling by Rs 10 per ten grams, bringing the price to Rs 87,760, according to GoodReturns. Similarly, silver prices dropped by Rs 100 per kilogram, now trading at Rs 1,00,400.

24-Carat Gold: The price per ten grams in Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai stood at Rs 87,760. In Delhi, it was slightly higher at Rs 87,910. 22-Carat Gold: The price per ten grams was Rs 80,440 in Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad, while Delhi recorded a price of Rs 80,590.

Silver Prices Across Cities

The price of one kilogram of silver in Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Mumbai remained at Rs 1,00,400. Chennai saw a higher silver price, with one kilogram costing Rs 1,06,900.

Global Gold Market Trends

On the international front, gold prices steadied near record highs, buoyed by concerns over US President Donald Trump's tariff policies. Investors are now awaiting a crucial US inflation report set to be released later this week.

Spot gold remained steady at $2,934.82 per ounce as of 0020 GMT. US gold futures dipped slightly by 0.1% to $2,950.10 per ounce. Spot silver declined by 0.1% to $32.58 per ounce. Platinum rose by 0.7% to $976.25 per ounce, while palladium gained 0.4% to $972.93 per ounce.

With market volatility and global economic concerns in focus, investors continue to keep a close watch on precious metal prices for potential movements in the coming days.
