Tensions within the political alliance in Andhra Pradesh have escalated following comments about the possibility of Nara Lokesh being appointed as the Deputy Chief Minister. This has sparked fresh controversy, with leaders from both the TDP and Jana Sena exchanging sharp remarks.

Jana Sena leader Kiran Royal recently made waves by responding to the TDP leaders’ enthusiasm regarding Nara Lokesh’s potential position. In a statement to the media, Kiran remarked, "We also want Pawan Kalyan as the Chief Minister. If TDP leaders continue their excessive enthusiasm, we will respond accordingly." His comments have added fuel to the ongoing political fire, drawing attention to the rivalry between the two parties. Kiran further demanded enhanced security for Pawan Kalyan, the Deputy CM candidate, stressing the importance of safeguarding their leader for the party's well-being.

The controversy deepened when Home Minister Anitha was questioned about supporting Nara Lokesh's candidacy for the Deputy CM role. Speaking cryptically during a media interaction in Visakhapatnam, Anitha did not give her endorsement, stating, “Everything happens by the will of God; let’s see if it’s written on his forehead.” Her ambiguous response has caught TDP leaders off guard, leaving them to contemplate the implications of her words.

As the political drama unfolds, these exchanges between alliance leaders are only intensifying the already heated debates surrounding the state's leadership dynamics.
