The Agnyaathavaasi film unit has at last responded to rumours of plagiarism. Last week, speculation was rife that Agnyaathavaasi is a copy of French film Largo Winch, mainly because of the tagline, Prince In Exile.

The film unit told a leading channel that the movie would be released as per schedule on January 10.Director Trivikram Srinivas is currently busy with the post-production work which is said to be why he is unable to respond to the rumours, it said. "We will start movie promotion shortly", it added.
