Sakshi Correspondent, Eluru: “All I have is character; I have never done any wrong in my political life spanning 35 years, and will not do so in future. I am only working for the sake of values in politics”, stated the AP chief minister Chandrababu Naidu. He was speaking on Thursday at the Kapu, Balija, Telaga single community Runamela program in Eluru of West Godavari district.

Chandrababu distributed units to certain beneficiaries there, after which he addressed a large rally. Speaking at the meeting, Chandrababu alleged that the opposition parties were not able to digest the development works that they were undertaking and were trying to trouble them. He accused them of instigating hostilities and creating controversies.

Reservation for Kapus is my responsibility

Chandrababu stated that it was his responsibility to provide reservation for Kapus. He claimed that he would provide scholarships for Kapu youth from next year and allocate a corpus of Rs 1000 crore for Kapu corporation. He gave assurance that Kapus would be provided reservation without any injustice towards the other backward castes and added that he would also provide aid for the poor belonging to the forward castes.

No danger from Aqua Park
Stating that there can be no development without industries Chandrababu said that industries can come up only on land given up by farmers. He also assured them that there was no danger from the Aqua Park that is to be set up on the sea coast of West Godavari and added that all the waste would be released into the sea.
