8 Engineering Students Drown In Sea

Mumbai: Eight engineering students got drowned in the sea off the Vayri coast in Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra on Saturday. The deceased were part of a group of 60 students from the Maratha Engineering College in Belgaum, Karnataka, who came to the city as part of a picnic.
Police said that three students have been rescued and are under medical observation. Further details are awaited.
