5 killed in two separate accidents

Five persons, including two senior citizens, were killed in separate accidents in two districts in AP on Thursday.

Two persons were killed and two others injured on Thursday when a Scorpio hit a parked truck on Singarakonda road at Addanki in Prakasam district.

One person died on the spot, while another died at the time of being taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. A case has been registered with the Addanki police station.

Lorry-van collides

In another accident reported from Suryapeta, three persons were killed when a lorry collided with a DCM van at Rayinigudem, Suryapeta Mandal in Nalgonda District in the wee hours of Thursday. The police, who reached the spot sent the dead bodies for post mortem.
