16 Persons from Six Households Murdered 

Beijing: Sixteen persons, among them three children, were found murdered in their homes on Thursday in China's Yunnan province, the police said.

An initial investigation showed they were murdered, a police officer said. The 16 victims, including men and women, were from six households in Yema village, near Daibu township. The motive behind the gruesome murders is yet to be established and the persons behind the crime, too, is not yet known. Further investigation was underway.
