Nizamabad: Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao launched a scathing attack on Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Uttam Kumar Reddy and said unless he shaves his beard he would be considered as a monk. KTR today participated in several developmental programmes along with MP Kavitha in Nizamabad.

Addressing a gathering here today, KTR said everyone with beard don't become Gabbar Singh. He questioned the need for Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to be dethroned. "Is it because he implemented welfare schemes like none other or because he waived the farm loans or for launching Rythu Bandhu for farmer?" he asked.

The IT and Panchayat Raj Minister said that the party's top leadership was not in Delhi but in gulley (on the streets). He called upon the people to think if Telangana development was possible by people who prostrate before AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu in Vijayawada or with TRS. He said Congress leaders Shabbir Ali and Sudarshan Reddy were unnecessarily criticising TRS government. "Uttam promises to waive farms loans of Rs 2 lakh at one ago if Congress comes to power. Then why is loan waiver in Karnataka being done in four phases?" he hit out at the Congress leadership in Telangana.

Later, he pointed out the different proposed developmental activities for Nizamabad which include airport near Jakranpalli, a playground and a modern bus terminal.
