YS Jagan Padayatra touches 2300 kms near Nandamuru cross, Kovvur: The popular mass outreach programme Praja Sankalpa Yatra undertaken by YSR Congress Party president, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy touched the 2300-km mark near Nandamuru cross in Kovurru today. YS Jagan planted a sapling and hoisted the party flag to mark the occasion as a sea of humanity was seen celebrating the milestone.

The people's leader has been traversing through the length and breadth of Andhra Pradesh to get an insight into the problems of people.

Scores of supporters drawn from all walks of life and age groups have been walking alongside the YSRCP chief to express their solidarity with him. The leader of the masses is marching on despite the sizzling summer heat and rains over the last six months. He has received a warm reception at every step of his way.

YS Jagan began his padayatra from Idupalapaya in November. The massive yatra which covers every nook and corner of the state will conclude in Ichchapuram in Srikakulam district.

The Praja Sankalpa Yatra has been a hugely successful initiative aimed at highlighting the failures of the ruling Telugu Desam government in Andhra Pradesh. During the course of his walkathon, thousands of common citizens drawn from all walks of life have been interacting with YS Jagan and narrating their problems to him and he, in turn, lends a patient ear to them to understand their problems on a first hand basis
