KCR Ruling Like Dictator: CPI

Khammam: Telangana Communist Party of India (CPI) Secretary Chada Venkat Reddy accused Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) of failing to fill the job vacancies in the government. The CPI leader attended the 35th anniversary of Thoomu Prakash Rao at Rayanapet in the district today. After unveiling a water plant here, Venkat Reddy paid tributes to Prakash Rao by unveiling a statue of the late leader. Speaking on the ocassion, he credited Prakash Rao with sacrificing his life for the welfare of the people.

KCR's rule in the state is resembling dictatorship, Venkat Reddy criticized. The updation of land records benefitted no one but the revenue officials, who had made a lot of money from the exercise, the CPI leader alleged.

The CPI state secretary took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The BJP rule, which has raked communal violence, is in favour of corporate bigwigs, but not the common man, he alleged. Due to lack of Minimum Support Prices for the crops, farmer suicides have increased in the country, he said.

The centre failed to address the issues of black money and inflation, which have worsened with the implementation of demonetisation and GST, he alleged.

The CPI will go to the public to educate them on the failures of the BJP government, he added. CPI National leader Puvvada Nageshwara Rao, state leaders Koonamneni Sambashiva Rao, TV Chowdhary, district secretary Bhagam Hemantha Rao, other leaders Jithender Reddy, Yangala Anand Rao, Thota Ramanjaneyulu, Bathineni trust chairman Naga Prasad, party members Neeraja, Rakesh, Susheela etc participated in the meeting.
