Is Hollywood's Dune The Inspiration Behind Kalki 2898 AD?

Rebel Star Prabhas' Kalki 2898 AD is one of the most awaited films of the year. The film has got a new release date.Kalki will hit the big screens on June 27, 2024. A new poster was released by the makers the other day, sparking discussions on social media. 

A section of the audience commented that Kalki 2898 AD seems to be copied from Hollywood blockbuster Dune in some ways.

Netizens have been sharing specific visuals and themes from Dune, showing apparent similarities between Deepika's look in Kalki and Zendaya's character in Dune.

We aren't sure whether Kalki is a copied version of Dune or not. For that, we have to wait for the movie to hit the screens. 

Kalki 2898 AD is touted to be a sci- fiction drama, featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani. It also features Pasupathy and Anna Ben in important roles.Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film is produced by Aswini Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies on a massive budget.
