Telangana UPSC Top Ranker Complains to Cyber Crime Police

Donuru Ananya Reddy, the All India third ranker in UPSC Civil Services Exam 2023, has approached the Cyber Crime Police Station alleging that some people have created numerous fake accounts on social media to impersonate her. 

In her complaint filed on Saturday, Ananya said these fake accounts have been created on social media platforms like Instagram, Telegram and X (formerly Twitter) to deceive people using her identity. 
 
She further alleged that some channels are using her identity to promote their mentorship programmes among the Civil Services aspirants. They are also collecting hefty fees from these aspirants, she added. 

It may be noted here that Ananya Reddy is among the four candidates from the Telugu states who managed to get into the Top 100 rankers list. The other rankers include Nandala Sai Kiran (27th ranker), KN Chandana Jahnavi (50th ranker) and Merugu Kaushik (82nd ranker).
