Guntur: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy released the YSRCP’s election manifesto at the party’s central office in Tadepalli on Saturday morning. Addressing the party leaders, CM Jagan said that the way poll promises were implemented in the last 58 months will be remembered for years to come. The chief minister said that he stood by the people with a smile whenever there were any problems. He said the state government ensured the delivery of welfare schemes to the people at their doorstep even during challenging times like the Covid pandemic.

CM Jagan emphasised that the manifesto is a sacred document, unlike the colourful promises made by others during elections. He said that the YSRCP treated it as a Bhagavad Gita, Holy Bible and Holy Qur’an. He also highlighted that the party distributed its manifesto to the government officials and the people. Our party also shared the progress report with the people on the poll promises made to them during the 2019 elections in the state, he added.
Targeting the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, CM Jagan said people believed the words of the opposition leader and elected his party to power in 2014, however, he failed to fulfill the promises made in their manifesto. He also accused Chandrababu Naidu of deceiving the people regarding loan waivers, Dwakra loans, and zero-interest deductions. He remarked that Naidu had lied about developing the state beyond Singapore and building a hi-tech city in every city.
