Prime Minister Narendra Modi lived up to his promise after honouring the fitness challenge thrown at him by Indian Cricketer Virat Kohli. He posted a proof of his workout in a fitness video today.

Last month, Union Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore initiated the challenge by putting up a video and urging people to keep fit and post their videos online. Rathore nominated Virat Kohli, who immediately responded with his fitness video and in turn challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi among others. The Prime Minister graciously accepted the challenge and promised to post a video of his fitness routine soon.

But in the current scenario, every department, state government and other departments are working together towards achieving a healthy India," he said.

“Here are moments from my morning exercises. Apart from Yoga, I walk on a track inspired by the Panchtatvas or 5 elements of nature - Prithvi, Jal, Agni, Vayu, Aakash. This is extremely refreshing and rejuvenating. I also practice breathing exercises. #HumFitTohIndiaFit,” the Prime Minister's tweet read.
