Sadist Husband Throws Hot Liquid On Wife Over Girl Child

Hyderabad: Unhappy with his wife for giving birth to a baby girl child, a husband poured hot porridge on his wife causing severe burn injuries to the woman. According to police, P Chennaiah (33), from Tandur had married Shanta (28) who also hailed from the same place. They were living at Peeramcheruvu, Rajendranagar near here. They had two daughters.

After the birth of their second child, Chennaiah who was upset had brutally assaulted his wife Shanta which resulted in a leg fracture. At that time, the family heads had sorted the issue between the two. Shanta gave birth to another girl child on July 20. She came home on July 23. Ever since Chennaiah would pick up a fight and he had even assaulted Shanta on several occasions.

Yesterday during the fight, Chennaiah brought hot porridge and poured it on his wife. Shanta suffered severe burn injuries on her chest, stomach and hips. Neighbours noticed the plight of Shanta and shifted her to a hospital near Kondapur. Based on a compliant by the victim, a case has been registered and investigation is on.
