Father Demands Interest On Loan From Daughter

Vijayawada: In what could be termed as sheer greed for money, a person has been harassing his own daughter to give him a high rate of interest to the money he had loaned to her. Hanumantha Rao, working as a teacher, has already taken an interest amount of Rs 15 lakhs for the Rs 5 lakhs given. As if this was not enough, Hanumantha Rao started demanding another Rs 5 lakhs from the daughter, Chandralekha.

Having understood that her father was harassing her, Chandralekha refused to pay the money. This angered Hanumantha Rao who stalled them from doing agriculture in their four and half acre land. With the harassment going out of proportion, the lady approached Krishna district collector today and complained against her father.

Chandralekha complained against her father to the district collector Lakshmikanth and explained about the harassment that she and her family were facing because of him. She requested the district collector to take action against Hanumantha Rao for demanding high rate of interest.
