Prostitution Racket Busted At Banjara Hills Massage Parlour
Hyderabad: A 22-year-old Engineering graduate has been arrested for running a prostitution racket in the guise of a massage parlour at Banjara Hills in the city.
According to police, Shaik Rahman, a native of Nellore had come to the city in search of a job. After failing to secure a job, Rahman opened a massage centre at Road No. 12, Banjara Hills with the help of a 22-year-old woman from Prakasam district. He later turned the massage center into a brothel house and employed sex workers.
On a tip off, the task force police raided the parlour and arrested the accused. "Rahman would attract customers through online advertisements along with pictures of women. Interested people would call him and then Rahman would direct them to the address," a police officer said adding that he would charge Rs 5000 for a session.
The accused was handed over to the Banjara hills police, who have registered a case and investigating further.
